I'm a big fan of the current lace up top trend. Kind of Western style, kind of seventies, kind of trashy in all the right ways. Strangely, despite the silhouette being super on trend right now, I was hard pressed to find any of these in stores. In the end, I turned to my number one destination for a super affordable fast fashion fix: ebay and Asian webshops. Specifically, I picked up this top at Shein with some store credit I had left.

The top is lighter in real life, and since I sized up a bit too much, it fits me differently than on the model, but I still really like it! And for that price, I really can't complain. I'd advise you to size down for this particular top as it is super stretchy, and to always scroll down to check the customer reviews at Shein. The webshop is great about listing real feedback on items: not always positive, but honest and informative with pictures and info on body measurements etcetera, which makes webshopping so much more practical.

I wore this outfit to go see the Chippendales with my bae Natalia, and it was honestly one of the best nights out I've ever had. I had expected to enjoy myself, ironically having fun, but I was completely head over heels with the whole concept in about 5 minutes. The Chippendales are not ridiculous or "too gay for women" or unattractive, the show is sexy and fun AF, and the guys are too. Definitely on the level of Magic Mike, so if you loved that franchise, you'll love the Chippendales. I feel like the ridicule aimed at things like Magic Mike or the Chippendales is just a sexist way of disarming female desire and sexuality. "Women aren't visual creatures", bitch plz. It was such good fun to be part of that audience as well, it just feels like a HUGE slumber party with a whole bunch of women being silly and carefree, a real sisterhood experience. I'm totally going again next year.

PS this is me with two of my fav Chippendales, haha.

The dude on the left was much cuter irl btw, unfortunate picture but TRUST ME HE'S HOT.

Hope you like the outfit! Well, that and the beefcake.
