I'm not crazy about these pictures, because even though the outfit is pretty rad, the lighting and the background sucked. I have the kind of face that needs good lighting, or I just look like I have two bottomless pits in my skul rather than two eyes. I know you feel like I'm exaggerating, but trust me if I say I picked the most presentable pictures out of a lot of creepy skull-like ones. I have to admit the makeup didn't help, though. As much as I love a dark, smouldering smokey eye, they're hard to pull off if your eyes are deep-set like mine. My eyes look much brighter if I wear a lighter colour from the inner eyecorner up to 2/3rds of the lid, but I really wanted to try this look so I guess I'll have to embrace the fact that I look a bit goth/haggard.

I do really like the outfit, though. Not something you might easily place in any type of fashion category, although I guess you could say it has equal amounts of Blair Waldorf, Fran Fine and Nancy from The Craft to it. Come to think of it, that's a pretty damn amazing combination if you ask me.

Happy weekend!
